Energy, intimacy, and hymnody.
Energy:We are lowering our utility expenses through moving into the chapel this summer. Plus this expression of stewardship is environmentally responsible. Intimacy: The chapel is the churchs original sanctuary built in 1954; for many members, it is coming home. Also, the space encourages a close, friendly atmosphere. Hymnody: Though the choir is taking a summer sabbatical (so as to return rested in the fall), the chapel invites lively congregational singing from the Baptist Hymnal. For some Northside Drivers, this style of hymnody spiritually fed them long ago.

PRESCHOOL - CAMP HOPSCOTCH This fun-filled camp offers six (6) full week camp sessions, each with its own theme. All sessions include worship, art, music and movement, sign language, fun experiments, playground time and a special activity chosen for the week's theme. The camp is open to children 12 months through 12 years of age. Each camper receives a free t-shirt! IDC SUMMIT 2009: Pursuing Inclusion Beyond The Ramp IDC Summit 2009: Pursuing Inclusion Beyond The Ramp will be held Sunday, August 9th, at the Sloppy Floyd Building in Atlanta. This one-day event will focus on how congregations can make their houses of worship places of hospitality and inclusion by engaging the expertise of people with disabilities and their families. LIFESPAN "Positive programs for older folks." CHURCH 1:01 Church 1:01 – A New Experience of Worship for a New World. CHURCH 1:01 will not be meeting for the summer and may resume in the Fall.
